Our Story

The Glamorous Grub was initially founded in Feb 2014 as a one stop "little horse lovers" shop after spending literally hours trying to find cute little horsey clothes for my then 2 year old, horse crazy child!   

As that little horse loving girl grew up, her love of horses grew, as did our range of horse lovers products.  

Along that journey we had to close our doors for a time as a result a very difficult period, and through that process, I found myself becoming very passionate about bullying.  It was far more prevalent than I ever thought possible and I was amazed to learn how many forms it could take and the long term damage it causes. 

If there was one thing in this world I wanted to change, it was that no person should ever be made to feel they are not enough. 

Fast forward to now, & that little horse mad girl is a teenager.

And guess what...still more horse crazy ever! 

My daughter is very lucky to have ponies, one in particular, who could always make her feel better.  That sweet little red mare was key to her surviving some pretty tough years.  Her passion & love of horses gave her the very best friend she could ever have wished for, at a time when she needed it most.  

There is something about loving horses that can take you away to another place where everything feels good, & your strength renews for you to fight another day.

So The Glamorous Grub became much more than just a horse lovers shop.   It's a place where horse lovers can come & browse a unique world of horsiness wrapped in Kindness, Hope & Inspiration.   Where you can buy horse gifts for the horse mad, or maybe for yourself, that you know will bring huge smiles & hopefully help make the world just that little bit kinder.
